Official Statement on the Misleading Information Regarding the Booster Pro Device and Bell's Palsy.

We would like to clarify that the Booster Pro device does not cause Bell's Palsy. Recently, a viral video on TikTok has been spreading false information claiming that the Booster Pro device caused nerve damage.
This misinformation has been spreading uncontrollably, not only affecting our customers but also misleading new individuals who are unfamiliar with our brand, Kucest.
As the brand responsible for the production, sales, and distribution of the Booster Pro, Kucest has determined that we must address and correct this misinformation.
First, it is important to note that generally in the United States, facial paralysis, (including Bell's Palsy) affects approximately 40,000 new cases annually.
The support of medical journalism states that Bell's Palsy is most likely caused by a viral agent. Evidenced in the medical literature, the literature states: "Regarding the causation of Bell's Palsy, a viral agent has long been suspected and such a mechanism has been established with reasonable certainty for the majority of cases (Baringer, 1996)"

(1) Why the Booster Pro's electrical pulse cannot cause nerve damage: Most facial electrical stimulation devices on the market operate within the range of 35 to 80mA.The Booster Pro, however, operates at just 7mA on Level 1 and 14mA on Level 5.This represents only 9% to 20% of the intensity found in other facial electrical stimulation devices readily available in the market. At such low output levels, it is scientifically impossible for the device to cause nerve damage or paralysis. This has been confirmed through official clinical safety evaluations. Furthermore, there are no scientific papers or studies reporting facial nerve damage resulting from electrical stimulation. On the contrary, electrical stimulation is recognized and widely used in the medical field as a treatment for facial paralysis.

As such, electrical stimulation is not a recognized cause of these conditions, and attributing such damage to it is both unproven and thus misleading.

In addition to this serious matter, our concerns for the growing number of fake products that are being marketed as Kucest products is a key topic we would like to also address. Over the past 3-4 months, our consumers, vendors, and our team have discovered various fake skincare products and facial devices that have been designed to replicate the look and feel of our products. These products are not produced by Kucest and thus have no verifiable safety standards, further complicating the issue at hand. How is it different from the original Booster-H?

What is the usage cycle for each mode?

Be sure to check the usage cycle before use, and adjust the usage cycle and usage time according to your skin type.

How should I use skincare when using the booster, mc, and derma shot modes simultaneously?

Absorb a light serum and ampoule in booster mode, then follow with a rich, viscous cream/gel formulation. After booster mode care, use mc mode and derma shot mode with the remaining amount on the skin without applying additional skincare. If the intensity feels too low, add additional product.

Can all 4 modes be used around the eyes?

All four modes of Booster Pro can be used around the eyes, and we recommend using level 1 for areas with thin skin, such as around the eyes, nose, and mouth.

It’s too bright even when I close my eyes. The LED seems to be too strong. Is this okay?

It may feel too bright but it has no effect on your eyes and is safe to use. However, if there is a lot of product on the head and the central LED operates even without contact with the skin, be careful of direct eye exposure.

Is it defective if there are scratches on the device head?

We used surgical steel, which is commonly used in medical devices such as scalpels and syringe needles, for the device head. While it is non-allergenic and rust-resistant, slight scratches may occur during the manufacturing or cleaning process due to the characteristics of surgical steel.

Is it defective if there are scratches on the LED head?

The lines on the booster pro LED section are not scratches but marks formed during plastic production. It is safe to use and is not defective.
